Working with Mend Collaborative, WFG provided expertise on Texas economic development tools available to the City of Denton, Texas, focusing on how to use these tools in conjunction with one another to implement a new Downtown Master Plan.

Economic Development Strategic Plan

Client: Moorpark, California
 

Working with PFM Consulting Group, WFG took the day-to-day lead in the preparation of the first-ever Economic Development Strategic Plan for the City of Moorpark, a community near Los Angeles with both a strong residential community and a strong base of advanced manufacturing companies.

Working with PFM Consulting Group, WFG took the day-to-day lead in the preparation of the first-ever Economic Development Strategic Plan for the City of Port Hueneme, home to both the Port of Hueneme and Naval Base Ventura County, the largest employment base in Ventura County.

Working with PFM Consulting Group, WFG provided development and land use expertise in assisting North Port, Florida, forecast future growth and assess the fiscal impact of a new land development code designed to facilitate the transition from an almost exclusively single-family community to a city with more mixed-use and industrial development.

Working with PFM Consulting Group, WFG is providing organizational and development expertise in assisting Rally Austin, a Texas local government corporation formerly known as the Austin Economic Development Corporation, clarify its role as a public real estate developer and asset manager and identifying associated revenue streams.

Regional Planning Roles and Responsibilities

Client: San Diego Local Agency Formation Commission
 

PFM produced a report called “The Contours of Regional Growth,” delineating the regional planning roles and responsibilities of the San Diego Association of Governments, the County of San Diego, and the San Diego Local Agency Formation Commission and making recommendations of how these entities can work together better.

Concept Plan for Tijuana River Valley Regional Park

Client: San Diego County Department of Parks and Recreation
 

Working with the World Design Capital San Diego-Tijuana 2024, WFG is providing project management, land use, and creative financing expertise for a concept plan for an active recreation site and gateway arch project in Tijuana River Valley Regional Park, located on the border of the United States and Mexico.

Working with Toole Design, WFG is providing professional expertise in assessing demand and supply for parking in Downtown Albuquerque, along with innovative approaches to parking management to make the best use of existing parking supply.
